Important Information about Pottery:
The ceramic piece(s) you order are made by hand. Each piece is unique and has slight color and size differences. The variations in the glaze are natural parts of this process and some pieces have crazing of the glaze, which does not effect the structural integrity of the piece. We carefully inspect each piece for defects, such as chips and glaze mistakes before it leaves the studio.
As with all pottery, exposure to extremes in temperature can cause breakage. You can place our pottery in the oven if you do not preheat. Put in your pottery, then turn on the oven. Our work is functional and food safe, but certain pieces are delicate and should be handled with care. Some handles are especially vulnerable to breakage. We cannot be responsible for breakage after you have received your piece. I suggest that customers hand wash our pottery to protect the colors from fading. All of our pottery is microwave safe.
